Title: Trust and Hope
Fandom: All for the Game (Nora Sakavic)
Character: Neil Josten
Prompt: Driving (10 out of 20)
Rating: G
Word Count: 145
Summary: Andrew gives Neil the keys to his car
Neil felt strange driving Andrew's car. It was too nice, too flashy. He wasn't used to doing anything that attracted attention. He also wasn't used to the trust. Andrew trusted him with the car, the same way that he trusted Andrew with some of his secrets. Not all of them, of course, because the less that Andrew knew about him, the better, but still more truth than he'd let slip to another living soul.
When he had reached his destination, he pulled the key from the ignition. He closed his hand around the key, feeling its ridges digging into his skin, not hurting, just suggesting a presence that he knew was there. Even though Andrew had left them for a while, Neil knew it would be a matter of time until he was back.
And on that day, Neil would gladly hand over the keys.
