Summary: SUGA feeds Jimin a piece of tangerine.
“Can I have a piece, hyung?”
Yoongi squeaked. He hadn’t realized Jimin was sitting beside him. He’d blocked out everything but the tangerine in his hand. Blocking the world out was a survival strategy he’d adopted before idol life, but living and working as he did now, he got infinite more practice.
There had been no one but himself and the tangerine in his world, and now that world included Park Jimin.
Jimin’s face was polite, respectful, hopeful, gorgeous.
“Of course,” muttered Yoongi.
How could anyone say anything but ‘of course’? They’d have to be made of steel or shit or snakes. And Yoongi was, admittedly, made of none of those things.
Yoongi broke a single piece off and hesitated.
He looked about quickly. Good. The cameras were somewhere else.
Jimin seemed to register this, too, for he opened his mouth, and Yoongi placed the piece of orange fruit on his tongue.
Jimin closed his mouth and chewed and smiled and swallowed and said, “Thank you, hyung. They’re good.”
“Yeah, yeah,” agreed Yoongi, wondering why his world was tilting on its axis and why his heart was pounding so loudly in his ears.
“Do you want another one?” asked Yoongi.
“Just one. Please.”
The ‘please’ killed Yoongi, but he tried to keep himself alive long enough to break off another piece. He turned again and placed it again on Jimin’s tongue.
For just an instant, he let his fingertips touch Jimin’s mouth and in another instant, Jimin was closing his beautiful lips around those fingertips.
Yoongi drew away. Jimin was smiling as he chewed.
Yoongi blushed to the roots of his being. “The rest is for me!” he barked softly and shoved the remainder of the tangerine in his mouth—and promptly choked.
He heard Jimin’s giggles and silently swore.
