“Do I make you uncomfortable, Neil?” Andrew asked.
“No,” Neil said.
“Be honest.”
“No,” Neil repeated, a little more emphatically to make sure Andrew got the point.
“Most people are.”
“I'm not most people.”
“Now, that I believe. Maybe there is something in me that you recognize in yourself.”
“I doubt it.'
“You wound me,” Andrew said, but there was a smile on his face when he said it. Nicky or Aaron might be greeted with one of Andrew's blades at their throat in the next beat, but Neil didn't think Andrew would react that way with him. For some reason, Andrew found Neil fascinating and as long as he did, Neil trusted that he wouldn't have anything to worry about.
