“I’m sorry I forgot my kisses—”
“Oh, well.” Seokjin grabbed the handsome stranger by the shoulders and pressed their lips together. Then he pulled back. “There you go.” He quickly kissed the stunned stranger once more. “I hope they were worth coming back for.”
“Yeah, uh, but, um…”
“Are these yours?” asked Jimin mischievously. He held up a bag of festively-wrapped chocolates.
“Oh, God,” breathed Seokjin, his ears turning pink. He covered his face with his hand. “I thought, I mean, we were sort of…”
“Eye-fucking for the past twenty minutes,” supplied Jimin. “Yeah, we all noticed. So hot.”
“Jimin! It wasn’t twenty minutes.”
“Yeah, it was. Koo timed it. Taehyung lost the bet. Or did he?”
Seokjin glared, then turned to the handsome stranger. “I’m sorry I was too bold.”
“Yeah, uh, no, definitely welcome, and I’m a bit clueless by nature so bold is good, really good, I’d love to stay and chat but I’m on my way to visit my best friend who is having his appendix out over Christmas. I was just waiting for visiting hours. He’s a bit of a Grinch, really. He doesn’t even like chocolates, but tangerines are difficult to come by in the winter. I’m rambling. I’m sorry. Kim Namjoon.”
“Kim Seokjin. Still a bit mortified,” confessed Seokjin. “This is my café. And that is my bratty—”
“Employee of the Month, Every Month, Park Jimin,” supplied Jimin cheekily.
“But, uh, tangerines?” Seokjin looked over his shoulder at the door behind the register. “Hoseok?!”
The reply came at once. “Yes, hyung?!”
“Those citrus blossoms you were experimenting with?”
“They’re ready if you want to try them, hyung.”
“I’ll take them all,” said Namjoon. “Here.” He handed Seokjin the bag of chocolate kisses. “These are for you. More where that came from.”
