“Meadow Soprano, where do you think you're going dressed like that?” Carmela asked.
“To the mall with friends,” Meadow said.
“Well, put something else on. Something less revealing. You'll attract an unsavory element if you go out like that.”
“Like the type of man who frequents Uncle Silvio's club?”
“Like worse than that,” Carmela said.
“Those girls are putting themselves through college,” chimed in Tony. “They don't have parents to take care of them like you do.”
“They don't have parents telling them what to wear like I do either,” Meadow mumbled as she grabbed a button down shirt from the closet and pulled it on over the other top. She came back into the kitchen. “Better?” she asked.
“Better,” they agreed.
Meadow smiled at them and left.
Carmela turned to Tony, “You know she's just going to take that off as soon as she gets to the car.”
“Yeah,” he sighed. “Well, we tried.”
