“His parents probably never knew he was a cannibal. Knowledge is power. And there's always a shank nearby if I need it.”
“Well, I hope you two are happy,” Hill said and Alvarez laughed.
“As long as his crazy matches mine, I'm sure we'll be perfect together.”
“You're a pretty brave guy.”
“Not brave. Smart. Taking the obviously crazy guy is a smart move. You get stuck in a cell with someone who's too normal, you'll find yourself his prag before morning count. Look at that poor bastard stuck with Schillinger.”
“Never thought of it that way. You may be right.”
“Of course I'm right. Crazy gets a bad rap, but it does have its advantages.”
