Summary: For a riot to be successful, someone had to be in charge
Chaos raged throughout the cell block. Said knew this was going to happen, had planned to be the initiator of the pending storm. Ultimately, it didn't matter how the riot started. What did matter was who was going to step up and take control when it did happen. He was born for this. People might not have agreed with his religious stance, but they did recognize the power he had over his people and the pull he had with the people in charge. Demands would have to be made and who better than him to speak on behalf of all of Oz's prisoners.
There were many factions inside of the prison and he led just one of them. The scales could have tipped in any one else's favor, except for one small detail-
He was the one who had the gun.
