“He's awful skinny,” said Cody, stroking Jabberwocky's fur.

“Jeremy said that they mentioned at the shelter that he was showing signs of depression. I think having a stable home will fatten him up soon enough,” said Cat.

“Not fat,” said Jean. “A healthy weight.”

Laila said, “Jean's working on a diet plan for the dog.”

“Please don't tell me you're going to have him existing on Raven portion sizes,” said Cody.

“He is not a Raven,” said Jean. “He will have dog-sized portions of a special food that Laila and I will make.”

“Jabberwocky has his own section of the refrigerator,” said Laila.

“You're going to eat better than I do, boy,” Cody said to Jabberwocky.

Jean considered Cody. “I am going to work on a diet plan for you as well.”

“You're in for it now, Cody,” laughed Cat.
