“What is in this cocktail?” Patrick asked, looking at the blue monstrosity in a hurricane glass that Benji handed him.
Benji said, “A splash of this, a jigger of that, plenty of fruit, and a cute little umbrella perched on top. It is, most definitely, the healthiest alcoholic beverage that you'll ever drink.”
“I don't recall blue being a natural color for food.”
“There are blueberries.”
“Which are more purple than blue.”
“Blue raspberries.”
“That's not a real thing.”
“Sure they are and they're delicious. More delicious than regular raspberries even.”
“If you made this with blue raspberry anything, I'm going to doubt your health claims.”
“Okay, so maybe it's not a hundred percent healthy. But it is delicious.”
Patrick took a sip of it and made a face. “Too sweet,” he said, handing it back to Benji.
“I'll add some lemon.”
“Add more vodka while you're at it.”
Benji grinned at him. “You got it.”
