Summary: Riko Moriyama was destined to be the best. At any cost.
Riko Moriyama was destined to be a winner. Though he was the second-born in his family, he made it his mission to never be second anywhere else. These rumors that being a member of an elite team like the Ravens, that being on the same squad as Riko was holding Kevin Day back needed to stop. Kevin was second only to Riko, a high honor in and of itself. They both would be Court one day. They'd be teammates, roommates, honoring the legacies of the sport that they were born to play. Kevin would need to come around, to see that his place was here, at Riko's side.
It was a pity that it had to come to this, Riko thought, as he brought the racket down hard on Kevin's fingers. Lessons would be learned. Kevin would heal, and then he would be back exactly where he belonged, with the Ravens, as the second-best player in Exy, right after Riko.
