Arthur looked down. The ground began to shake. He saw pins, a multitude of tailor’s pins, spilling, rolling, scattering.
“What’s going on?”
“Arthur.”
It was not the voice of the tailor.
“Eames! What the fuck? Can’t I have one tiny innocent fantasy without you popping in to spoil it?”
“Of course, darling. But this isn’t your fantasy.”
“What?!”
“Hurry! I’ll explain later.”
