Summary: Andrew is not going to let this opportunity run out the door
Andrew Minyard was easily bored. He'd been dealing with Nicky, Aaron, and Kevin's nonsense for months. He needed a new challenge.
He wasn't thrilled with Kevin's insistence that he come along on this quest to sign a new recruit. One look at Neil Josten had Andrew glad he'd made the journey. Neil was a puzzle- he had the prerequisite brokenness that would allow him to fit in with the rest of the team, but the young man, who Kevin swore would one day be Court, tried to run away at the sight of the star striker.
This, at last, was interesting. So interesting, in fact, that Andrew wouldn't let him leave. He grabbed a nearby racket and swung, connecting with the unsuspecting Josten. It bought them the time they needed to resume the negotiations anew.
Josten gave him a dirty look which amused Andrew. The more resistance that Neil put up, the more fun it would be tearing him down.
Maybe this year wouldn't be so boring after all.
