[10 Out of 20] Passing the time - Dayshift At Freddy's

Title: Passing the time
Fandom: Dayshift At Freddy's
Rating: Gen
Word count: 341
Prompt: Puzzle
Summary: The flipside gang is bored. they try to assemble a puzzle piece.

The silence between the group had began to get almost torturous. It had been a while since Jack left the flipside, and after discussing their plans, everyone just didn't know what else to say.
"...Peter, what do ya' even do here? I'm gettin' bored as shit already!" Dave suddenly exclaimed.
He sighed. "Not much, to be honest." He turned his head around to a drawer. "Well, I do have a puzzle in there. I finished it at least 30 times these last few years, so nothing new to me. You four can have it, i guess."
Dave and Dee's eyes lit up and they immediatly ran to the drawer's direction, with Steven and Blackjack following them in a slower pace. Dee opened it, and Dave held it in the air for them to see. The group analyzed said puzzle's box; 100 pieces, with a faded and yellowed image of the eiffel tower in the front.
They sat on the carpet in front of the couch, and took it out of the box. The pieces immediatly spread out on the ground, everywhere from underneath the couch to the other side of the living room.
"No- That's not where the piece goes! this is a corner piece!" Dee said.
"Nuh uh! this thing goes in the middle, fo' sure!" Dave argued.
"I WAS GOING TO ASK IF YOU WERE STUPID, WILLIAM, BUT I THINK I KNOW THE ANSWER." Blackjack sneered.
"Yer' a fucking hound, what do ya' even know?"
"Guys..." Steven tried to interrupt.
"MORE THAN YOU, APPARENTLY." He tried to move said piece to another spot, but unfortunately his paws couldn't put it in the right place without messing up the rest of the puzzle. Dave laughed so hard he fell on top of it, and made him earn a few slaps from Dee. Steven laughed in frustration.
Peter watched it all from the couch. It felt like he was watching one of those shitty reality shows. He'd be smiling at their antics, if he still had a mouth to do so.
