“Where am I?” he asked the darkness, his voice echoing as he stepped back and bumped into something else, something warmer and more solid and—
“Hello, darling.”
Relief washed over Arthur.
“Eames! Is that you? What are you doing here? Where are we?”
“The kingdom of the blind. The dream of the one-eyed king.”
Arthur reached, then gasped. “Eames!”
“Yes, I’ve got a few extra limbs in this one.”
